Wind blew steps open on interstate!

Worse cross winds I have ever towed in and noticed my steps were open while on the interstate! Pulled over to put them back up and the wind had bent them towards the back so I had to remove them. Funny thing is I installed Morryde steps and was going to remove these this weekend - guess I have a head start on weekend todos!

I've had that happen twice, so now I put a bungee on them. I too am wanting to upgrade my steps and any of those you go with have a latch to hold them.

I think the newer steps are much lighter that old ones. I have never had that problem with mine and they are sitting in a trough when closed and can hardly be pulled out by hand.

Dang something else to think about!
