Camping Stores

Living in Canada it seems that apart from the usual staples of Cabelas, Bass Pro, Princess Auto and Crappy (Canadian) Tire we have no where near the options available in the States.

I used to live on the Michigan border in Windsor Ontario and would drive over often to Camping World and Harbor Freight.

Anyone in Canada found other stores over here that are comparable, or am I just delaying the inevitable trip to the US?

Cheers

Not much available here either without a substantial drive. Have you considered ordering online if you are limited locally like I am?

Nothing comparable to Camping world in near my end of Canada. I cross the border and head to Camping World and Cabelas about 1.5 hrs across the border. I have found a dealer whose prices are resonable for most small parts. I use him regularily as he recognizes the fact that people head south and he has priced his stuff to make it worthwhile to stay home and buy fom him.

I agree with Crabman. My family lives in an area where the nearest camping world or camping store is about an hour away. It depends upon the area here in the US.

I looked at online with campingworld, the prices are a lot cheaper until you factor in duty and taxes. We are about 3 hours drive to Toronto, Ontario for Bass Pro and Cabelas.
