Just bought 2017 Octane SL 272, any others out there?

Hello, I have been lurking on the site for a while. Bought a 2017 Octane SL 272 back in February. Taking it our for our first trip next weekend. Not new to camping however, this is my first brand new toy hauler. I don't see many posts about this model in the forums. Are there many folks that have chosen this model? We like it for the bunks and extra sleeping capacity. No mods yet however, I am sure I will get started after this first trip out in it.

If anyone already has this model, is there anything I should be looking out for?

We're looking at one too. What are you towing it with?

Thanks for the welcome! TV is a 2015 Silverado 1500. Lifted with 35s but I've beefed up the rear suspension and re-geared to 4.56 from 3.42. Pulls like a beast for a half ton! Click image for larger version

What’s your experience been with the 272 after one season? I just traded in my 26rr for this. I hope I upgraded. Any advice?

Hey, I just purchased a 2018 Jayco 272, and will pick it up this weekend. I am planning to pull it with my 2017 F150, 3.5 EcoBoost. I would love to her how your experience with the 272 has been, and your towing experience with a half ton. Thanks.
