Alente grill area

The 2020 class a Alente has a front grill that is mostly cosmetic. Do u need to install a screen on the inside or outside of it to protect the radiator and other inner workings in the front area?

I believe that's a matter of preference. With 11K miles on my Entegra Vision (sister ship) the only thing i've had make it through is a few bugs. I make sure to rinse the radiator good when I arrive back from a trip to get them off. Aside from that, i've had no issues.

I bought standard 1/4" mesh screen from Home Depot and wire tied it to the inside of the grill before doing an Alaska trip last summer. I didn't want to chance a rock damaging my radiator. It works great and you don't see it from the front unless you are really looking. It also stops most bugs and birds and it is easier to wash off with my pressure washer than the radiator. Total cost was under $20 and took me about an hour to crawl under the front, cut the mesh and tie it in place. Does not affect cooling at all.
