Cool Class A warranty and unit returns

I recently had a check engine light come on during our second trip out. The unit was towed 5 hrs away from where it was picked up at the choice of roadside assistance. I've learned if they say which shop is best then I should just roll with it. I offered to scan the codes to see what the issue was prior to towing as they were having difficulty locating a tow in the remote area I was in. They said no it has to be towed and they are on it. Took 3 days to find a tow as they also knew I was in a "safe place". Third day was a Monday. I'm good with that. the service center they took it to seems to have gotten on it in the time they said they would and replaced as you would guess spark plug wires. I'm good with that. I could have saved them a ton of $ they said no and times have changed so I just roll with it. Now I received a notice from the service center that the spark plugs have been replaced and assume they are working on the leak on the e-brake at this time and I anticipate they will be contacting me soon that it's ready for pickup. Does anyone know if the roadside assistance and warranty coverage supply the return of the MH as it would be ridiculous for me to have to travel 5 hrs one way to retrieve the unit. My fuel, time, and energy to retrieve it after Fords failed parts seems a little unworthy although I am hopeful that I can get it back and begin to use it. I'm not bashing road side assistance or Ford just simply wondering if others have had units returned or what they have experienced? Not new to RVing just class A
The breakdown location is 30 miles from my house.

Hmm. I had to travel 150 miles to retrieve my truck last summer and never thought to see if there was coverage. I'm thinking warranty coverage before roadside assistance.

Report back on what happens.

No. Go pick it up. You might also read the warranty so you know what is and is not covered.

I can read and have read the warranty coverage both Jayco and Ford. Was just wondering if anyone had had a positive experience with customer service to the tune of a return. I can and will make the most of a trip to Vegas if needed. Thanks for the input.

My guess is that any coverage on a "return" would be a good-will gesture at best.

When it happened to me, I was lucky enough to be within 30 minutes of my repair facility. I just went and got it when it was done.

Personally, I would ask if any remuneration is available for the "return", but I wouldn't expect any. Make a fun trip out of it if you can (I couldn't, it was just another chore).

Camper bob- thanks for the words. Had to Google "remuneration" I figured anything would be good will for sure. It's in the triple digits in Vegas this time of year. I worked in Vegas for 9 months in the early 90's and given the heat and distance it's not a place I would consider fun at the moment. They do have a Bass Pro Shop and it will be a chore so it's a toss up Looking forward to getting it back and heading to the high country.

Yeah, no thanks on that heat, even if it is a "dry heat". We have "wet heat" down here, and the only treatment is being IN the water, or IN the air-conditioning. I can't even get relief from elevation... Finding a shady spot helps, but usually whatever's creating the shade is also blocking a breeze (if any). Being outside when it's over 100, with high humidity, and no breeze is just miserable. We usually don't camp much between June and September around here. And it's at least a 2-day's drive to any sort of elevation that offers any relief, so if we're traveling, we're headed NW into the mountains as far as we can get... or to a place where we can spend the better part of the day in the water...

Good luck on making the best of your "Pickup trip"!
