Emergency Question - 2022 Precept 36C Bedroom Slide Issue

While getting ready for a 3 week trip tomorrow having an issue with bedroom slide.

While putting the slide in it would retract for 2 to 3 seconds and stop. I didn’t see anything catching mattress/bedding wise.

I was able to get the slide in, but had to do it in several attempts 2 to 3 seconds at a time.

Anyone run into this issue?

Thanks in advance

Is it a Schwintek Slide?

When it stops, check the controller box and see if it is flashing a code. The code can be kind of generic but may give you and idea. You can also bypass the controller by pressing the button on the controller and hold on the 7th push until the red/green light flashes. You will have about 45 seconds to move the slide in or out. One big issue on Swintech slides is the wiring harness wires a very small and tend to get cut or twisted very easy.
I keep a spare motor for my bedroom slide just in case.

Still searching for the controller, but I tested the slide again and it worked. Going to troubleshoot a bit more.

Thanks again

PS - Anyone with a 36C know the location the of controller?

Not sure but if your bed lifts up for storage underneath, it’s probably under there. If not, most likely in an outside compartment underneath the slide.

I have a 2020 Precept Prestige 36h and having problems with my bedroom slide. Not being able to find the controller I had a feeling that it might be under the bed, so this helps. Hopefully!

The Schwintek slideout controller was indeed under the bed. After doing the reset, the slide worked just as it should.
