Extended Stay Propane Valve

Anyone install the Extended Stay Propane valve on their Motorhome propane tank? If so, any issues or advice to share with your experience using one...safety, install worries, etc.

We are coming up on our first Winter in the Class A, with Hydronic Propane heater and water heater, so not sure how long the propane will last...and having
to tear down to go to propane store to get tank filled. We will be in South Texas Nov - Mar, so hopping for not too many extended cold weather days.
Also looking for some dealers that may provide on site service.

But just in case, would like to be able to use external tank as we park for 21 days straight at most parks.

I installed an Extenda Stay in our coach 5 years ago with no issues. When staying anywhere for more that 3 days I attach an external tank so we are not using the onboard tank. I also will hook a BBQ to it also. We used this method for 11 months while traveling and living in it while I built our house and it was nice not to have to drive the coach from our site to get propane.

I install one on my MH, no problem yet but then again I hadn't had the need to use it yet.

There should be several threads on this as I have contributed to several myself. I use it with two 30 lbs that I swap out when needed.

I added one to my Entegra Accolade. I also added a sheet metal plate to extend the protection underneath.Click image for larger version
