I have heard a lot of "issues" with various motor homes and want to drop a note as to how happy I am with my 2018 Alante and with my Camping World dealer in Draper Utah. We have done three trips; a 7 day "shakedown" with about 10 non-serious items to be fixed, a 10 day that ended with 2 minor fixes and we just returned from a 33 day, 4,000+ mile, 16 campground trip with no problems to be fixed. I am pretty handy and do a lot of stuff myself; sway bar adjustments, steering stabilizer, different kitchen and bath sink faucets, water softener, water inlet filter before the softener, TV in bedroom, etc.. I also understand that I am driving 9 tons of house down the road and it drives and rides differently than a car. We were in horrendous rain storms in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois with zero leaks (this surprised me as they were severe). We drove hundreds of miles on I-90 and I-80 in cross winds, head winds, tail winds and 18 wheelers. We pulled a toad the whole way and stayed in pull thru and back in sites so had to remove and hook up the toad several times. We have over 9,000 miles in the last 5 months and have used all features; A/C, furnace, stove, microwave, water, dumping, GPS, awning .... and all worked great. I hope I am not the only one with a "good" unit but we are very happy with our Jayco. Planning a 5K trip in January and then off to Alaska next summer when it's still under warranty
