Jayco Precept 31 UL 2016

Has anyone removed the doghouse on their 31 UL?
If so, how?

I wouldn't think it's much, if any, different than a Precept?.... here's my link on what I did with the dog house removal. At the end of the day, see and remove the screws that hold it in place, lift/slide back and it's removed.

2015 31UL here. Removing the dog house is relatively easy. Finding the screw heads is the challenge, if yours is carpeted like mine.
Getting it back on and snugged up correctly was a bigger task. Make sure the factory insulation is on the engine side. Mine was there but apparently some were left off. (I put dynamat all over mine as well as the cab floor to cut down on noise.)

Yep. Finding those screws was tough. 3 on the front, 1 on the passenger side and 3 behind inside the console, the hardest one to find. Found them all and the glue they use for the carpet is some tough stuff. It was holding the doghouse down to the floor carpet. I installed a strap to hold up the wiring when pushing it back in. I wanted to do this now before having to do it on the road some time in the future plus I put my electronic mouse/squirrel deterent inside.
