Nautilus control panel info

Here is a link to the Nautilus controls found in a lot of our wet bays. Good info I hadn't seen before such as step by step instructions to get the pink antifreeze pumping in the P3 model which is what is in my Precept 36A.

Good find! I've had a little trouble getting mine to keep pulling from the jug in winterize mode, especially when changing out jugs. I've done a few of their suggestions on my own, with varying levels of success, good to know they are approved methods, and a few more suggestions to try next time as well.

You know that you need to remove the screen\hose gasket and turn it around 180 degrees before attaching a tube for antifreeze jugs, right? At the fresh water hookup there is a check valve inside the fitting. Normally your city water is pressurized so this will open the valve.

When you are using the 12V pump to pull antifreeze from the jugs, turn the metal screen around and it will force the check valve to stay open. The pump will suck those jugs dry with no problem.

Look at the city water connection on the front panel where you attach the garden hose. There should be a standard O-ring seal that has a metal screen shaped like a nipple. Pull that out and turn the nipple around so it points inward, this will push the check valve open.

When you are connected to water at a campground the ~50psi pressure opens the check valve when you turn the water on at the post. When you are using the 12V pump to suck in antifreeze from this connection the valve remains closed unless you force it open with the screen.

Thank You, I will try it

Good info.

Yep, Jayco manual left out the flipping of inlet filter when we did our first go around in 2021. 3-4 jugs of rv antifreeze usually does trick for us. Just keep a tiny flat head or needle nose handy in the compartment.
