Propane furnace 2021 prestige 36h

Hi First off I would like to thank everyone for your help with my questions. Your help has been very much appreciated! and...I have yet another question. I am not sure if everyone has this many questions but it seems like there is no end to mine. I know that the furnace was not used at all last year but on a trip to newfoundland recently we had a couple of days that were cold enough to have me test the furnace just to verify that it works and it seemed fine from inside. We went away for a weekend that just passed and although the days were warm the nights in southwestern Ontario were downright chilly. I decided to leave the furnace on overnight and give it a good run. The next morning my daughter who had the next site beside us on our driver side had commented that someones furnace or generator was very loud. it turns out it was our furnace and the next night we were at their campsite and i turned the furnace on to hear what they were talking about and sure enough it is loud! it was a low growl that kind of pulsated a little bit. Any idea what causes this or is this normal?

I know that a water heater will blow quite loud if there is too much air intake into the orifice. (This is adjustable). I'm not sure about the furnace. Was it a windy day when your furnace was working? I would find a large rig around you in the campground and compare the noise of the furnaces.

I would say that they all are loud (relatively). Just the nature of the beast.

Yeah, mine sounds like a jet engine switching to afterburners

Ours is kind of loud also and especially at night, when sound seem to travel a lot far and louder, but I'm not sure how loud is yours.

Ok I just found it surprising how loud it actually is. I guess this is normal.
Thanks
