Rear Trackbar for 2018 Alante31v

Looking for a source for a rear track bar for our new Alante. Ford dealer told me there are none available. If anyone knows a source I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I have a 2018 Alante 31P. Does the J-Ride Plus have anything to do with this?

It appears as though it comes close but does not include front or rear trac bars even with the J-Ride Premium package;

Thanks for your info. I did do the CHF on the front and it was a noticeable improvement. I will do the rear befor our next trip. Hope it is as noticeable as the front.

Supersteer is where we got ours https://supersteerparts.com/shop/mot...-18k-ford-f53/

We went to the Ford dealer to get a CHF, but they refused to do it while the unit was under warranty. The service manager called Ford, and was advised, for liability reasons, not to do it.

I got mine from Supersteer also, if you have an F53 chassis then it comes with a front trac bar from the factory, but no rear one. The J-ride plus is a marketing gimmick but is supposed to include HD stabilizers front and rear, the rest is the same as the standard J-Ride, which did nothing. I ended up throwing some $$$ at the issue of bad handling and a poor ride and finally got it taken care of. Coach no longer sways, gets pushed around, and the ride is MUCH improved, but it took the installation of Air suspension in the front to do it.

I now have over 20K miles with the CHF, with no issues, but yes, Ford won't recommend it, but why put the other set of mounting holes on the sway bar if they are not meant to be used??

The dealer is doing the CHP for us, hopefully between that and the rear trac bar, some of the handling issues I've read about will be minimal

I've done front and rear CHF and koni shocks. CHF front was noticible, rear helped with sway. Konis gave better ride. I also had alignment done at truck shop and had caster increased (I told guy at least 4.6. he added shims to get there). One last move will b rear track bar.

I have to agree the CHF works. As soon ass we got our 31V home I did the CHF front and back. Have driven from TX to OR and TX to FL on freeways and back roads. Handles good, even in gust to 65 mph in WY when I gave up and pulled into campground.

I put the ss400 on mine. It's a 2016 18k chassis with 19.5 tires.

Supersteer is what we used. An absolute must. Redlands Truck and RV did the install for us.

Thanks to all for the details! I have already fixed alignment(it was way off) and have installed the roadmaster steering. Definitely feels better but have not gone on long trip yet for thourough test We leave on next trip in 4 days. Will try to get track bar on by then but will be real challenge.

Update from my post of 3/14/18. I did the CHF on the rear and it helped a bit. Added SUper Steer rear track bar and it made the most difference as far as handling. I was running 91.5 lbs in all tires but it was a bit skiddish. Since then I had the alignment checked and adjusted. RV was then loaded, I moved all of the heavy things behind the front wheels and carry 2 cases of water behind the drivers and passenger seats. I then had the RV weighed. I also lowered the tire pressure to 85 lbs. all around. The RV now handles and rides softer and is a pleasure to drive.
