Suspension

Precept 31UL 2021

If anyone has the time, can you provide a itemized list of what I need to ask the suspension shop for a complete upgrade. I see a lot of info that new Koni shocks, bars etc would make a huge difference. I have no idea what exactly I have to ask them for. Thanks in advance

I covered this in my upgrades post: https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...34g-81805.html It's a good place to start.

Jesse, it depends on what issues you're trying to rectify as to what upgrades you need. For example, if you are trying to stop the rear push from passing trucks, you would want to invest in a rear trac-bar which stops the axle from moving side to side under the chassis. If you want to stop body roll when taking corners, then you would want to replace or add auxillary sway bars. If you want to stop rut tracking and help with better control during a a front blowout, then you want a steering stabilizer.

You need to drive the unit and make your own assessment, but to me the bare minimum is a rear trac bar and a steering stabilizer.

First things first: proper tire inflation and a full front end alignment.
