Towing a car

Last winter we towed a Nissan Altima with a dolly to Texas and home. I noticed a big improvement in handling during crosswinds and when encountering transports, over the previous winter when we did not tow. I am considering switching to a flat tow vehicle. Has anyone had a similar handling experience when towing with a dolly vs flat towing vs not towing.

Flat towing does help in the stability of the rig. Used a dolly many years ago and would never do it again.

We flat tow a CRV and I don't even feel it. I use the camera to make sure it's there.
