Water Leak After Flushing Black Tank

OK - here's a puzzler: Our 2020 Precept 31 UL; after flushing the black tank, there was a puddle of water on the bathroom floor. But it wasn't under the toilet; it was near the sink, at the corner of the doorway to the bathroom. Didn't notice it until after flushing the tank; not sure how long after, but I was outside finishing the takedown process, so I didn't see it right away. DW was cleaning the bathroom around the same time, but didn't run the water in the sink very much; had used Lysol wipes.

So, does anyone know offhand if the supply line from the hookup in the wetbay to the black tank is routed above the floor? Access point(s)? Check valve under the sink? Other ideas?

Thanks,
Mickey

I found a puddle of water in our bathroom in our 248RSBW.
The outside kitchen faucet was leaking at the hot water connection.
The water was traveling down the pex line that was routed behind a panel behind the toilet.

Just saying that water can travel in mysterious ways!

Gotcha - and thanks for the reply. My thinking (always dangerous!) is that I only noticed after flushing the tank after three days camping.

This sounds like it could be a bad check valve. Not sure where it may be located in your particular case but many have reported finding them in very inaccessible places.

Now that's it dry, can you flush black tank again and see if leak happens again??? You want to make sure that caused it and not something else.

Thinking it is the check valve. Problem is that it's at the storage site and there's no way to hook up to a water source to check. I'm heading over tomorrow to see if I can locate the valve and determine if there's any evidence of leakage. Will have to wait until we go to another campsite to hook up.

Thanks for the input. Will report what I discover.

Found the check valve - easy access under the sink, and 99% sure it's the culprit. Pulled it and will be replacing with a better design. Thanks to all for the advice!
