Winterizing

I am only able to travel in the colder months. I live in North Carolina. I am wondering if it is possible to completely drain and blow out the water lines instead of using anti freeze

I live towards the coast, and that's all I do. I have only had the camper two winters, and it hasn't gotten cold enough to worry about, although I have power to the camper and keep some space heaters going when very cold. That is typically 25-30F around here, and if it warms up in the 40's and 50's next day, I don't worry about. My dealer lives in the high country in Virginia, and he told me he does not winterize his unit, using antifreeze, until he has multiple days and nights below freezing. I always keep a few gallons of water in the black tanks, but not enough to expand and crack them. I also have the tank heaters, but not sure how well they work. One space heater in the basement storage, with door to the guts of the RV open, and one or two inside, and the temps are always in the high 50's even when very cold.
