2021 264BH couch mod

In October we bought a 2021 jayco 264bh brand new, after our first trip I noticed the couch seemed a bit flimsy but never gave much though. I spent the weekend in the camper and laid down on the couch a lot (corona got me). The middle sagged every time I sat down so I went exploring.

What I found was:
-the couch support near the window had 1 screw into the wall
-the leg for the window side was cut short and they missed the stud
-all the weight was on the furnace cover and it was cracking/breaking near the rear of it.

What I did was:
- reinforced the corner of furnace cover
- put more screws from couch support into stud
- moved the under couch support up 1” so that the support was sitting on the frame of the couch
- opened up under the couch so we can use that space better.

Now the couch is as solid as it gets no mora sagging in the middle and the under support actually supports the couch frame.

Have to get a panel to clean up the door side of the couch and finish it up.

Next project is to separate the pass through from the inside, support the bed and insulate it.
