Big Remodeling Question

We've got a 2016 Jayflight 264BHW that has the tiny bathroom. Our biggest problem is the bathtub, it sets so high and there's no room to get out after getting in the shower.

Has anyone taken the bathtub out and replaced it with a square shower?? Knowing the drain is on the left hand side of the tub, we'd have to remove the center wall between the bunks & tub. That's PERFECTLY fine with us, it would give us a lot of storage room in the trailer. No one camps with us and we could use the extra space.

I think we'd have a door just at the dining room bulkhead, and a accordion door for the bathroom inside. Will use bunk space for storage and desk/work area.

TIA

If your tub has a seat it might be over the wheel well. If not anything is doable. Take plenty of time to lay it out and make sure everything will line up. You may be able to get a residential stall shower and have the drain relocated. Good Luck.

My parents for their SB house, ordered a shower pan and walls that were custom fitted to their space. They said the price was not bad. Make sure to look at the P-trap, under the tub, as often that is why the tub/shower is elevated.
