Installing a thermostat for a roof top A/C

I am looking around and gathering the parts needed to install a thermostat and relay to control our roof top a/c. Does anyone know which parts I should get that work well with a Dometic unit. My trailer is a jayco x213 '19

I've done it to mine with a basic honeywell digital rth111b thermostat. and a relay i purchased from mouser.com item number 655-T9AP1D52-12. took about 30 minutes to install. I was even able to wiring in the old heat thermostat into the new thermostat since the exiting heat thermostat was only a 24v two wire thermostat.

Might be worth a little time searching the archives and Youtube.

Many years ago (2013??), someone posted a Youtube video of their DYI solution. As I recall they installed 2 relays mounted within the air stream. Then a surface mounted plug mold to the thermostat.

Last fall (??) someone also posted a replacement control panel, that was plug and play. You just had to figure out how to run your thermostat wires to your desired thermostat location.

Good Luck.
