Pantry in our Greyhawk was narrow, deep & dark. I purchased a
magnetic reed switch from Amazon and LED roll from local hardware store. We pulled 12v power from behind the pantry (fridge compartment) and mounted LEDs via self-adhesive tape to inside corner of pantry. This worked perfectly since the shelving had a small gap in the front corner to run the lights clear up to the top (no cutting or drilling). Total job was less less than an hour. So every time door is opened - let there be light!
