Removing sofa and replacing with recliners

What do I need to know if I am considering removing the sofa so that I can replace it with two recliners? We own a Jay Flight Swift.

Weight and size.. Make sure you can get the sofa out before you buy the chairs and that the new ones will fit through the door. Worst problem I had taking out the old recliner for 2 new ones was getting the old one out the door by myself. Also you may want to look at a way to secure the recliners for transport.

Before removing the sofa I would look for wall hugger recliners that will fit in the space. We removed one of the sofas in our trailer and put in two Lazy Boy recliners. The sofa went right out the door with out touching anything. It was not a problem for us.

When we replaced out couch in our 2007 Jayco Eagle I removed the back of the couch before we took it through the door.
We replaced it with a Jennifer sofa-bed. Again we removed the back and put it in the trailer. We now have put it in our new 2014 Cougar High Country. Sleeps two adults very comfortably. Just be sure you have room for the sofa bed to extent because the mattress alone is 6 feet.
Look here: http://www.jenniferfurniture.com/cat...sofabed-1.html
Happy trails,
