From someone who has put a few miles on a 287BHBE, get the nose down a little and she'll tow much better.

Although the 287BHBE is lighter, just be sure not to exceed your TV's max tongue weight if you lower the front end of the TT!

No way it's even possible with a 287BHBE on my RAM. 2600lbs of payload capacity after the family and full fluids, and it has a Class V 2.5" receiver hitch.

How far down? Just curious, I tow the 28BHBE (flight with same floorplan). I've always sought a level ride, but I just dropped the nose about 1.25 inches in the hopes of a better tow. Haven't towed yet, but we'll see how she does this weekend.
