About my A/C

Reminder. I am the guy with a bunch of rookie questions:

Part of this is because I don't have the TT in front of me, so I can't just go out and look, but I need to be doing some research and decision stuff in the mean time...

So, the 2019 175RDW Baja we purchased has a Roof-Mounted 13,500-BTU AC unit. What then is the window unit located in the front sleeping area? I swear it had both, or am I imagining this?

you apparently have a vivid imagination. All the pictures I see only have roof top. I can't imagine a 17' trailer with 2 A/C's

I know right? It now has me second guessing did I somehow pass over a retrofitted exhaust fan or something that the PO installed?

I think he bought it used, so the previous owner may have added a 2nd unit for some reason.

Yup, that's exactly what has me concerned. it's 13 month's old, I hope there is not a retrofitted unit added.

I think you saw a MaxAir vent cover. That would be a good thing. I have 2 on mine.

According to the specs that unit came with a 8,000 BTU window unit as a standard. I'll bet the original owner added a roof mount since you are in AZ and a 8,000 btu would never keep it cool. A 13,500 roof unit was an option.

I did say window, but really meant wall mount. It was near the side window toward the front (again if my memory serves). I will solve the mystery tomorrow.

That could be an interesting combination from a power management perspective with a 30 amp service.

Typically you have a roof mounted AC, or a few TTs have a wall mounted unit (window AC in the wall). But not both. But again, someone could have added a roof top unit for additional cooling.
