Curious about shower

Why are the shower controls placed upside down on the Jayco's.

Of all the other campers and motor homes we have had the shower hose comes out the bottom of the fixture but on the Jayco's we have looked at it comes out the top and is usually crimped because there is a shelf right above it.

Figure there must be a reason.

Thanks...Sonny

For winterizing it's way easier to get the water out. Now that might not be the reason why but it works for me.

Welcome to the forum.

They probably do it because it is
better or
faster or
cheaper... pick one.

That sounds like it was a boo boo, every one we've had it came out the bottom.

Or maybe our's were wrong....

I was just wondering because after we bought this one I went back and looked at the 360 degree views and it looks like all the ones with the round plastic showers have the hose pointing up.

I went ahead and swapped ours to where it is down but was just curious why it was that way.

Thanks for the replies.

The shower hose attached to the bottom on our 27DSRL and it attaches to the bottom on our 28.5 Eagle HT. Wonder if it is different for different models?

No Grumpy,
Every even year they come out the bottom and every odd year they come out the top. Now I don't know what the assembly plant does for leap year.
