Disappointed Newbie

Hello everyone. ..New to the site...I've enjoyed different posts I've read... We have purchased our first TT and we haven't got to take her out yet. We have been testing things out in the back yard ..... The gentleman we bought it from had it for about four years and used it as much as he and his family could......when he purchased it it came with a repair title. ..He explained this all to me. The repair was to fix, what else but leak problem....He showed things that he repaired for the time he had it. I knew the gentleman and his family and he was up
front with me, I felt, on everything. ..

I guess I shouldn't be disappointed because I was aware of alot of this.....I purchased a cover for it and when I was on the roof, spreading the cover, I just about went through at one spot...So, my question is, has anyone repaired the roof of a Jayco Featherlite XP 25E??

I have contacted Jayco and they have sent me all of the technical drawings they had, so I could see how she is built...... I feel I gave a far price for it so I have some room to put some money in it.......

Sorry for the long winded story, but any insight from anyone would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry. I can't help with your question, but several members on this site have done extensive repairs or modifications to their units. Hopefully one will have some information for you.

There is a thread on here somewhere detailing a complete roof replacement.

Found it: http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f4...ent-39639.html
