First time on city water

I went on my second outing and went to a place with full hook ups. I hooked up to the city water and everything worked ok. After leaving it came to me that there was probably some water left in the lines. What do you do about this water? I thought maybe to just turn on the sink and let it drain to the gray tank. Any ideas??

I don't worry about any water left in the lines during the camping season and only clear the lines when it's time to winterize. The only way I know to clear the water out of the lines is to use a air compressor and adapter that connects to the city water connector. Turning on the sink won't flush the lines and opening the low point drains doesn't completely clear them either. I also tend to leave the water in the hot water heater between trips.

Never had a problem. Going camping at least once a month so water never even gets stale plus we always run a little water when we hook up to clear air out of lines.
