Hummingbird battery?

What kind of batteries have HB owners installed? Trying o decide between VMAXTANKS MR137-B31 (120 AH) and MR127-B27 (100 AH). Is the extra 7 lbs lighter and $25 worth the addional 20 AH?

I have the 120 Watt Go Power solar panel w/10 amp charge controller and a 3000 watt generator to keep the battery charged, so I don't *really* need huge battery reserves, but I wouldn't mind a bigger cushion than the cheap battery installed by the dealer (Mighty Bruin DP 24-85).

Suggestions?

Have you considered two 6V batteries?

6v vs. 12v

I have considered 6v, but I was concerned about the size and weight. There's no question that 2x 6v batteries is the way to go if you have the room and can afford the weight. For example, the XTR6-235 from VMAXTANKS weighs 78 lbs and is 10.2" wide and 7.1" deep. That's 2x the weight *and* I'd have to completely rebuild the angles that form the battery tray. To complicate things, I'm not a welder. That said, they would provide 2x the AH over the batteries I was considering.
