Jayfeather 25BH television and mount

We purchased our 25BH without a Television. Has anyone had a good television mounting bracket combination that works well and allows viewing from the love seat.

Don't have your camper but installed a Morryde extending swivel mount on ours. It allows you to pull it away from the wall, tilt down and turn to either side. Very happy with it...

There are many mounting options out there. Just keep the TV weight in mind.

I got mine from Amazon. When travelling I have a bungee cord stretched around to keep from bouncing or moving. This requires adding a small eye bolt into the wall where the mount is attached (the solid area in the wall).

My 25BH came with the TV. The mount that they use with the factory option isn't much of a mount. It doesn't pivot out or swivel at all that I have noticed. You can see it from the love seat though I will at times close the left bedroom door and swivel the TV a bit.

Here is what I am considering. Taking the Furion TV that came with the camper out and replacing it with another brand like a Samsung. I want one a little bigger. Not that we spend a lot of time in there but why not. The extra mount that we got for the outside will go on the Furion and we will use it there. The benefit is they say the Furion TVs are built a little more rugged and a little more resistant to moisture than a traditional TV. I want to fill out the opening a bit more with a bigger TV inside. Maybe a 40-42" but it depends on how wide the bezel is on the TV. You need to watch two things. That there is enough clearance to swing the TV around if you want it in the bedroom. Also that with the mount it doesn't stick out too far and interfere with the slide when you bring that in. Another option if you are concerned about the slide is to swing the TV around to the bedroom side when traveling. They say not to do that because the pin you have to pull only has a hole in the side when the TV is facing the living room. A drill will fix that problem. They mentioned that tip to me when I did my PDI. You will probably want to add another one of those lower brackets that the pin goes in like on the other side but those are cheap.

Like you I think I will go with a mount on the new TV that pivots out a bit. I would add a strap so that it can be secured while in transit no matter which way you have the TV facing if you go with that style.

When I picked up my unit the dealer suggested I remove the mirror before I mount the television. This doesn't look easy. Has anyone done this?
