New 24BHS Owner - A few basic questions

We just purchased a new 2015 Jayco White Hawk 25BHS and have a few questions:
1) Can I remove the tow vehicle from the TT at the camp site and leave the spring bars under tension? Or should I always release the tension first?
2) Should I remove the spring bars from the hitch while in storage? I have to believe the answer is "yes" but just thought I'd ask.
3) What's the easiest way to level the trailer side to side at the campsite? I bought a pack of leveling blocks but don't want to rely on the old "trial & error" method. My thoughts were, 1) an 8 foot straight edge and level, 2) a water level, or, 3) a 4 foot level laying across the A-frame.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give us.

First off Welcome and congrats on the RV.
#1-NO! #2-YES --OK you should lift the tongue up to relieve pressure from the spring bars. Then remove the spring bars. Then lower the tongue to take weight off the tongue jack-loosen the coupler. Then lift tongue again, till it becomes loosed from the ball. Drive truck forward. #2 part 2-YES remove the bars from the unit, and place in storage/truck bed/ETC.
#3-Well here goes. If you can, get a level and get the trailer level at home. Then buy 2 small "sticky" levels. Place one on the front of the trailer, place the other on one side of the trailer. -- Then when you get to the campsite, level side-to-side first, by driving the trailer on wood/lego blocks/concrete/ETC till the front level shows level. Unhook (including spring bars), then level front-to-back using tongue jack, till the level on the side says level.

Have a blast in your RV
