New165 Owner

Just picked up a used 165 today. I have never had a travel trailer before so this will be a new experience. I need to get power to it in my driveway and start figuring everything out.

A generator might be a useful purchase. I use mine everytime I set up for a trip to test everything out and cool it off.

Welcome from Northern California! Just a thought, you might want to check the wheel bearings and brakes just to make sure everything is ok.

Not sure what a 165 is as there may be letters or more in the name. If you have a window AC a heavy drop cord is enough for testing the AC. For lights and keeping up the battery a drop cord is fine. You can purchase a simple voltage tester that plugs in for a a few bucks. A multimeter is a must for every camper. I also have a 12 volt plug in meter with usb outlets that I have that works great to keep my eye on the battery condition.

Use the gold bar search function above to get lots of help and don't forget make and model if you have a question about a specific item like a fridge , water pump, etc. Have fun and see you down the road.
