Possible new Whitehawk

Greetings all JOF members!! I am contemplating an upgrade in TT's next season and I was hoping for some opinions, advice, and/or suggestions. We are looking at a Whitehawk 33BHBS. We also like the Whitehawk 30 DSQB. Does anyone have either of these units, and if so, any input on them? Or, in general, are you folks satisfied with your Whitehawks regardless of model. I don't really see too many Whitehawks while camping, and that is a concern, because they are full of features and options yet are lightweight and easily towable. Can someone shed some light on that? Happy Camping!!

Can't give any input on the two specific models you're asking about, but in general we love our White Hawk. We've only had it for one season, but in that season put almost 5,000 miles on it and, other than a couple of minor (e.g. broken shade) warranty repairs, have had no issues whatsoever. Fit and finish is great and she tows beautifully. We too are surprised that we don't see many White Hawks while camping, especially when we've heard from a couple of dealers that they are extremely popular and they can't keep them on the lot.

We love our White Hawk DSRE 30 we use year around since the winters are not too bad here. We got ours in August and have had no issues except the paint on the front has faded a little (must have been on the dealers lot for a while). No matter it now sit in my shop when not in use. I agree with robkelly the fit and finish is great

We too are considering a White Hawk, specifically a 28dsbh. We have looked a couple and think we have narrowed down the best deal with trade. Looks like an awesome camper.

Love our WH-25BHS - perfect size. Knew it was the right model because:
- Works with our TV
- Outdoor kitchen (use it more than the inside one)
- Bunks ~ great storage space OR short-term guest quarters ("Guests, like fish, begin to smell after three days" Benjamin Franklin)

We love our Whitehawk. Put 8400km's on it last season and it tows great. Love the layout, fit and finish and it has a great deal of storage. Can hardly wait till the snow melts so we can get back on the road.

I must agree that I was dealing with the same issue. I can't even find a Whitehawk to look at here in SC. I've looked at reviews, photos and you tube videos to help me with my next purchase. Our new 28DSBH should be here in April and I can't wait. Being a current Jayco owner I am certain that I won't be let down. Once you have owned a Jayco it's hard to trust in anything else. As others have said, you can have problems with anything man made but I do believe in the product they sale. Good luck with your decision.

I love our 33bhbs. Can't really call it camping, but it works great for our family. As I've posted to some in the past, just make sure you want/need as much trailer as you are looking for. at almost 37' bumper to hitch it's a long trailer. With that said, I find it easy to tow and back in. The layout is great and besides a few minor issues and normal warranty issues (nothing major) we love the trailer. I love the back bedroom. Lots of room and gives me the DW our own area. The kids love the bunks and with pillows and stuff, they make them their own little worlds. Lots of storgage and everything is very functional. Love the double vanity in the bathroom too.

What size family do you have? What are you looking for in a trailer specifically?

If you have any specific questions, just let me know.

BTW...if you plan on towing with the explorer...you're going need a TV upgrade :-). I started with an F150 and upgraded to a F250 and couldn't be happier. I know some tow with a 1/2 ton, but I feel much safer with the heavier TV.

Just looked at the 30dsqb and it is the model with the front BR and the rear bunks. With a bigger trailer, I like the second door. Makes it good for loading. I could never understand why the parents get crammed in the nose cone of the trailer and the kids get the bigger room in the back. I like it in the 33BHBS :-).

Happy hunting and let me know if I can help.
