Spare Tire Mount on Bumper?

I have a 2006 Jayflight EXP 26L that I bought used. There is no spare tire mount on the bumper. The spare is stored inside under the right side bunk and always seems to be in the way.

Anyone installed an after-market spare tire bracket or rack on the bumper they are happy with? And is it sturdy? The bumper looks flimsy, so I'm hesitant to mount anything on it.

Thanks!

We have a 2012 154BH that the previous owner installed a spare tire on the rear bumper.
We have had no issues with the mount.

Our 2016 Jayfeather has the spare mounted on the bumper, from new.
However, the bumper is only rated to 100 pounds, per Jayco, so that's about all I would want to attach there.

Mine came with a spare tire on the bumper.... no worries. Keep all the bolts tight and it shouldn't fall off.

Thanks. I’ll do some digging online to find the manual for my model and see what it says about weight on the bumper.

i see them on amazon for $35-$40. I would not call mine "sturdy" but i'd consider it ok for a spare tire mount.
