2nd A/C question…

I have a 2017 Jayco Eagle 336FBOK and I am installing the 2nd AC in the MBDRM roof vent. It is my understanding that it is pre-wired and that somewhere in the wall, housing the bedroom light switch, is the wiring for the 2nd thermostat.

I called Jayco customer relations and she said that as far as she knew a 2nd AC is a stand alone unit and there is no thermostat wiring.

My son installed one in his Jayco and there was wiring in the wall for a thermostat.

Can anyone help here?

Is the thermostat wire in the vent opening with the 120 v romex? If not no thermo, if yes it will be in the wall "someplace"... It varies model to model.
