Bunk bed space

I'm new to the forum. Just purchased a pre-owned 2008 M-31ss. The bunk area has a built in TV with a couple cabinets. I'd like to remove the TV and cabinets to increase the bunk space for sleeping grandchildren. Anyone have experience with modifying this space?
Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I haven't any experience with that, but that is a great idea! Hope it works out for ya. Happy camping!

Honestly, you can modify the interior of any trailer as long as you have sufficient carpentry (and maybe electrical) knowledge to deconstruct without damage, and rebuild to fit, and securely.
I added fixed and folding shelves in the bathroom and above the sofa in our 2019 Jayfeather X213, and strengthened and expanded our cabinet storage in the kitchen. But I had to custom cut everything, install hidden bracing to attach some shelves, and confirm the thickness and composition of my exterior walls to know what size fasteners I could use, and where, to secure shelving.
Gotta do your research, for sure. I watched a half dozen Jayco factory tour videos online to try and figure that out with confidence. The rest is just carpentry skills.
