battery disconnect in storage

The last time I put my trsiler in storage it was for 3 months. When I went to take it out two weeks ago, the battery was totally dead. Once I charged it back up and used the trailer for a week trip, I disconnected the battery so that whatever was trickling would not discharge it in the event I do not get to use it soon. However there is a safety monitor still pinging which I believe is the Safe-T-Alert propane and CO2 warning. What is powering this, remember battery is disconnected.

I don't think there is a backup battery, regular or rechargeable on that model.

My guess is your fire alarm battery is going dead. I pull mine every fall after l left mine in on my old popup. With 10 inches of snow and ice I could not get it open and listened to it beep for months!.

Almost always on the ceiling, a 6 or 8 inch plastic unit. Rarely they are put on the wall a few inches below the ceiling height. Mostly near the bed or bedroom to provide maximum warning.

Oh, the smoke alarm. That has its own batteries. This is an intermittent beep that sounds after the house batteries are disconnected and goes on for weeks.
