Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch

Has anyone installed this particular hitch on the back of their TT ?? If so, what are your thoughts on this product ??

I had one similar to it welded on my last fifth wheel. There are others that have different type brackets, mine was closer to the camper bottom. They have a 350 lb wt limit, so it would not be suitable for towing, just carrying bikes etc.

Here is a link to one like mine: http://www.thehitchstore.com/class-i...ch-p-1382.html

I would be using it for a bike rack only.

As long as you are only putting a bike rack on it and even then following the instructions on bike racks it should be OK

I looked at that hitch and then decided to have one custom fabricated and welded to the frame instead. I am happy with my decision because it is much lower profile and really stout. They welded in and gusseted two new cross bars and then welded and gusseted the receiver tube to them and then painted everything to match. I called a large local RV dealer and they referred me to the weld/fab shop because they source to them when a customer wants a rear hitch. Disclaimer, I use mine to tow a jet ski behind my trailer and not for a bike rack.
