I can't recall the name of it but someone I know had one of those Garmin GPS that had a camera like ur talkin about. I have a NUVI but it doesn't have one.
It actually helped him. Got in a wreck and the lady said he pulled out in front of her. Then he showed the trooper the video from the GPS and it pretty much straighter it out right there amd she got the ticket

Don't buy a KDlinks X1. I have one and I have never been able to get the clips to save correctly. Video and audio are great, but useless since it never records the times when the G sensor activates an auto save.

The camera is rated very high on amazon and other sites, but mine has never worked correctly.

I have one 2 years old, no name brand so probably not able to find it.

Warning, some have very sensitive impact sensors. These lock a few minutes of video into memory. After awhile, 3 months in our case, there is not a lot of space left.

I take mine out when I remember ( haha, need to do it ASAP) and look at the video of last drive to make sure working and then re-format the ssd card and put back in.

Get the biggest card you can and set it at the highest format and longest recording segment time available. Mine is 1 or 5 minute segments. That way it will lock anything leading up to the accident if you aren't able to do it yourself

Safe Travels!

I have the Rexing V1 dash cam. I have had it about a year and I am very happy with it. It has nice features and is user friendly. Also accessories are available to it such as rear window camera access and GPS ports

I just bought another one for my work truck last month from Amazon. Cost is $99.00.

I assume that you bought ANOTHER Rexing V1? Just want to be sure. If you bought 2, that would be a strong endorsement.

Here is how I mount the Dashcam: By the way, the ads are not on the actual video, just the screen.

I ran power from my cigarette lighter under the steering wheel and up the door frame plastic, across my visor and down to the GPS and the cell phone. Keeps all the wires out of the way. Don't seem to stick to the dash very well but boy do they stick to the windshield.

Got them at COSTCO 2 for $29.00.

Here is the link for Amazon: They have a 1 pack for $19.99 or 2 for $29.98.

We have had a Garmin NuviCam LMTHD 6" for 2 years. Dashcam and GPS work very well. It uses a magnetic base which makes it very easy to mount to window or dash. It's not cheap but we love it plus it has many additional features (e.g. lane assist).

I use a Vantrue X1. I've had it for several years and it does a great job.

I use the InnoTech ROVE R2-4K, a great little dash cam with 4k resolution, FIFO recording, wi-fi connection to your phone to set up, change settings, or download clips. Attaches to the windshield with either suction cup or double-back tape (which I used as I get so tired of the suction cup popping off at altitude.

Love our Garmin

Another vote for the garmin. A nice feature is the voice control. On a recent trip through through some beautiful scenery, the snapshot and voice control was very handy. "garmin... take a picture". Quality isn't bad either. We feel like we're getting some use out of it beyond just waiting for a crash!

My old one was a garmin dash cam 35 died, after about 4 years! Just went with a New one Garmin Dash Cam 55, any more YES they are A MUST! Last few years with all the idiots and CLOSE CALLS! a must! Because way to many of the close calls, that is will be needed and I want Back up!
I know the Garmin, when the card is full takes and over writes the oldest memories! unless it is a saved picture or video. (That is saved not just recorded) The saved~ must be gone in and deleted. and are not just overwrites. but easy to do with the app Virb on the phone or laptop. I am sure there are lots of others that may be just as good but I, My 3 cousins and a uncle like the gamins because of semi drivers. and they say that they will only use garmin because they use the HD settings to get it all recorded with the best quality.
