Exterior lights stay on

Unit: 2018 Eagle HT 29.5FBDS
Problem: Exterior lights stay on

A couple days ago something related to the exterior lights on our relatively new fifth wheel failed in the on position. The LED light strip under the awning and the blue LED under the steps will not turn off. Hoping for an easy solution, I removed the main control panel cover to check the toggle switch. Even with both leads unplugged from the switch, the lights remain on.

Any ideas about what is causing this? I sure would appreciate any input.

Thanks,
Troy

Seems that sumthin shorted. To start, I would pull fuses and isolate the circuit that stops the lights from being on and go from there. Are they factory installed? They have to (obviously) be getting their power from somewhere.

The trailer has the LCI One Control system, right? If so, the lights may be turned on there.

If the lights were turned on by the remote they need to be turned off by the remote.

Well now I feel like an idiot.

My parents were using the unit as the "guest house" and never mentioned using the remote. They left before I noticed the lights. It never occurred to me to use the remote. Would you believe it worked?

Thanks for the help!

Don’t worry, it’s happened to multiple people when they first got their units. I did the same thing to myself.
