Furrion vs. HaloView

Why do the Furrion cameras and monitors list for so much more than the HaloView cameras and monitors? The two products seem to provide the same results for users. I know you can pay more for a "name," but if that's the answer, Furrion must be a mighty BIG name. Are there any quality differences in the Furrion?

Obviously, the Furrion is an easier install with Jayco's prewired setup for it. Is that the only reason the Furrion prices significantly higher?

I have the Haloview setup. I used the factory wires and fixtures for it, works just fine. IMHO the difference is the name. You pay a higher price for a better known name.

I started with the Furrion setup and have had two rear cameras get "Foggy" and end up with poor picture quality. For the third time, I switched everything to Haloview. That system has not been without issue either as I have had to replace two of the transmitters for the rear camera and Halowview will only replace one under warranty. The picture quality on my Halowview is better than the Furrion ever was.
