I think my television went kaput

No broadcast channels anymore.
DVD works fine.
Antenna connections are snug.
Anyone had a tuner quit on them?

Had a spell of pixelating, then blue screen.
Ran channel search multiple times.
The 5 channels I was receiving are not found now.

We had the same problem. Everything worked in the Spring, then when the weather got warm and we started the Summer camping season I had no TV channels.

I really wasn't too concerned because we are camping, right? If it rained in the evening and we needed some amusement we put on a DVD.

Then came the Fall season.....the TV reception is back working again.

I have to believe that the TV channels either change the signal direction or output based on the time of year. I guess we'll find out next Summer.

Maybe the coax wire from wall to tv went bad? If no luck, test with another tv (if you have one) and see if that works. I know the TV that came with our camper is far from high quality. I've considered replacing ours with a name brand TV.

If you are on antenna, make sure the connections on the roof are good too.

I also had the inwall amplifier (the wall plate with the light on it) die on one RV. Lots cheaper to replace than the TV.

You could take the TV to a home connection to rule out a prob in the TT. Our home flat screen died (no pic). I discovered (thanks YouTube) that they have 3 or 4 boards that are fairly easy to replace. Found the board I needed on eBay and for less than $100 we were back in business. For a smaller TV (35" or so) you might be better off replacing it. But, my discovery was that these things are pretty simple when it comes to board replacement.
