Our simply stops reading the DVD during the movie. Sometimes it takes an hour before it freezes other times it happens in minutes. I plan to call Jensen and see what they say, just haven't done it yet.

Guess this is another item for me to check! Just out of curiosity, if the player is warranted by Jensen as I assume it is, who replaces and installs it? Jensen? The Jayco dealer?

Good luck with Jenson, have friends that own an audio store and when someone with an RV comes in with Jenson radio problems, Jenson does not recognize the model numbers. They are made by a company called "ASA" and Jenson will not forward your call to that company or give you any info on how to contact them. They found ASA on the web, called their number and was told that they (ASA) dont deal with warrenty repair.

Guess that puts it in Jayco's hand. My extended warranty specifically states entertainment equipment.

I won't be dealing with Jensen. I will go to my dealer 15 minutes away from my house and they will deal with it and make it right

I agree, the Jayco dealer should / will take care of any issue or problem while in warranty.
As far as ASA/Jensen goes, I wanted to add a Sub Woofer to our current Jensen sound system so I contacted Jensen for questions and support, they were great, supplied info and drawings for what I was looking to do.
The Sub Woofer upgrade went great, we love it.

I contacted Jensen directly, they directed me to my dealer to get a replacement under warranty. This will be added to the off season todo list.
They also confirmed thier warranty for Jayco factory installed systems is 2 yrs from date of purchase, same as the Jayco warranty. This was good news to me, I am quickly coming up on a year and was concerned I'd lose camping time to get this replaced.

Mine has decided to just start doing what it wants. While on vacation it turned on 3 times in one night then started turning on while driving, now it is to the point where it will turn back on after you turn it off. Loses reception out of nowhere, will change modes when listening to the radio, and it thinks there is something connected to the USB port which there isn't. Dealer just ordered a new one from Jayco and said they will worry about putting it through the warranty after. They also commented that it isn't uncommon for the Jensen radios to start doing their own thing and they change 6-7 every season. One would think Jayco would find another product if there is so many issues with this line?
