No 12v outlet in bedroom

2015 Octane T31B - new to us.

This outlet is in the bedroom area , but no 12v (cig. lighter type) outlet. Is there some sort of inverter behind the 110/120v outlet? Is there 12v behind the cable plate and I just need to replace with a cable/12v plate?

Would also be nice to add a 12v fan, or USB for charging, etc.

Normally the only cable/12v outlet is at the antenna amplifier.

Yes I have one there. Was confused about the sticker on the cable plate as indicated in the pic "12 Volt Outlet for TV Power Only"

Just keep it simple and pick up a couple of these and plug them in to your standard 110 v outlet. That sticker does seem confusing. Shouldn't be power behind the cable plate.

How will this help if he doesn't have electricity at his site? I think he is asking for a 12v plug because he doesn't have electricity.

Correct, I was trying to get 12v to the cable plate so I can run an inverter to power a 110v TV without shore power or generator. Also surprised there was no 12v receptacle to power a small 12v fan, or phone charger. Looks like we will be running wires from the Batt. to accomplish all of this.

I like these BLUE 12VDC Panels from AMAZON... Uses the round modules that you can rotate so this means you can mount the panel horizontal or vertical... AMAZON has several differe configurations to suit your needs...

Having a couple of 12V batteries would be a good idea if you start doing something like this... An alternate way of charging the batteries when off-grid is also something you may need...

It all took good planning for me to be successful. Now it all comes second nature living off the batteries...

Our Seneca came with No 12v outlets anywhere except in the cab.

I purchased this from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Roadpro-Plati.../dp/B000YR6CTW

Mounted it under the cabinet over our bed, got the power by connecting to the light fixtures a few inches away. We plug in our 12v phone chargers and charge our phones all night and when needed will plug in a 12v fan to circulate air in the bedroon on those warm summer nights.

THIS!!! Is awesome! There is a light switch next to my side of the bed, thinking of pulling power from the switch to power this panel... Hubby wanted a 12v Batt. gauge anyway, so solves both problems. NOW, still need to run 12V somehow to the cable to power a TV. BTW, we have 2-100w solar panels on the roof, and dry-camp in the Desert SW, so solar should be plenty. (With help if needed from gen.).
