Plumbing schematic

Love our "new to us" 2009 324BHDS. Is there a resource for a plumbing schematic? We have the owners manual but it is vague. Specifically, suddenly, I had water on the floor, by the water pump, cleaned it and no active leak seen. We are connected to city water. Pump may have been inadvertently activated momentarily. City water does not go to the holding tank, right? Thank you

Welcome to JOF

I would recommend contacting Jayco Customer Service (via phone & e-mail) requesting both the electrical & plumbing schematics for your particular model TT...., have your VIN handy at time of request. They will e-mail you copies.

I don't believe the 2009 Eagle TT's city water connection can fill the fresh water tank....., at least my 2005 Eagle TT didn't.

On specific newer Jayco models the city water can be directed to the fresh water tank for filling (no separate outside fresh water tank fill).

The city water connection does not go to the holding tank. There may be a valve near the pump you may have to shut off by giving it a 1/4 turn twist when connected to the city water, depending on your plumbing layout. I would guess, however, that it had to do with you running the pump at the same time tha city water was on if your spill did not return after correcting that. Also important is to have a regulator on the spigot that you're connecting your city water line to. Many of those will be greater than the 40 to 50 lb a regulator will knock it down to. Your water pump is set to be around 45 pounds. Excessive water pressure could also create a leak and/or future plumbing problems if it split a water line or compromised a joint.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like our pump is leaking. Will probably replace it. No shut off valve on the pump. I would like to install one but I'm having trouble finding a shut off valve. New pump does not have one either. Will definitely get an inline water pressure regulator.

SharkBite (brass) and Flair-it (plastic) brands have PEX compatible fittings, connectors, and valves.

RV dealerships (some hardware stores) sell the Flair-it brand plumbing products...., Lowes, Home Depot, etc., sell the SharkBite plumbing products. I've used both brands and both work great with RV plumbing systems.
