"popping" sound from suspension

First, our dealer says this is normal, which it may be, but I'd like some conformation.

Our trailer has a leaf spring suspension and when jacking the tongue up or down we hear a "popping" sound(for lack of a better way to describe it) coming from the suspension every so often.
Is that normal?

Not normal for our TT, can't remember it ever doing that from running the jack up or down.

Well, apparently all that was needed was a little lubrication. I sprayed some Tri-Flow on all the bolts and the sound appears to be gone.

Lubrication does wonders for all types of moving mechanical joints.
