Roof seams

What is the proper procedure and product to reseal the roof seams that have cracked/

I'm guessing you are asking about the seams where a rubber roof membrane meet a vent or air conditioner or the like. Many people recommend laying a strip of Eternabond over the seam, after cleaning the area with acetone. Once Eternabond is stuck, it is stuck. It will stick well to old sealants that have been cleaned; it should come with application instructions. Here is a youtube demonstration on roof repairing. Maybe that will help.

I fully agree with this post. I have used it and found it works as directed. I found it quite expensive in my local supply houses but have seen it going on E-bay for a reasonable price.
