Satellite Internet?

There are a number of places we go to that are not in the cell service areas. Is there a satellite internet product/service we can buy?

Only 2 that I'm aware of. Viasat and HughesNet. Starlink is still in Beta and not available everywhere. I know there is another one coming but I think they are at least a year away from a Beta program.

What Doc said - StarLink seems to have the most promise. The beta trials are going well and Musk has stated that he's targeting the RV crowd too.

Amazon's is behind Starlink. But in a year or two we should have some excellent options.

I'm told Hughes and Viasat are very expensive, slow and have long latency times.

We do not depend on constant internet. Public libraries in areas we are in usually have internet available. One little towns library had sign on door. If you stop by and we are closed feel free to log from our parking lot.

Starlink is definitely looking promising. I signed up a few months ago but haven't heard anything yet on where I'm at in the queue. Hopefully soon.

There is a company called Blazing Hog. I may give them a try.

Same. Waiting for my number to be picked. Signed up for the beta the first day it came available in my area.

I may be wrong, but i think starlink will not work if you are mobile, it only works at a fixxed location.
Which is sad,, cause i qualified to get the service, but wont work for me unless its mobile,

"
Can I travel with Starlink, or move it to a different address? Starlink satellites are scheduled to send internet down to all users within a designated area on the ground. This designated area is referred to as a cell.
Your Starlink is assigned to a single cell. If you move your Starlink outside of its assigned cell, a satellite will not be scheduled to serve your Starlink and you will not receive internet. This is constrained by geometry and is not arbitrary geofencing."

They are getting closer to a solution for RVers though.
