Trying to fit x-chocks

I recently replaced my E rated tires ST 235/80r16 with Sailun G rated ST 235/85R16. My X chocks will not fit between the tires. This is on a 2009 Designer 37RLQS. Any ideas....does anyone know if they make different sizes and if so what company sells them...

Unfortunately, there are only 2 size options; standard and wide-stance. I assume that since you already owned the X-chocks before you got the new tires, you have the standard size. If that's the case, I think you're out of luck.

You can make custom ones though. Using some threaded rod and some 4x4 lumber. Lots of people on this forum have done it.

Ron, What is the issue. I have a pair of the Xchocks and they fit a host of tires. Not sure what changed on your setup. Can you elaborate a bit more? Mine will ratchet down to about 3" for storage and probably out to a foot or more fully extended

I would imaging going up 5% in the sidewall height (almost an inch total in combined tire size) has made it too narrow between tires. Until these tires wear out they may just not work.

Yeah, my 16"Endurance tires barely have enough room to get the x-chocks in. They are fully collapsed to the point I need the wrench to make them this small. With the minor axle movement that occurs turning sharply, one side is almost always tight to get in place. I cannot imagine it working at all with even a tiny bit more tire.

I have a 28rls with 16" Endurance tires. You do need to collapse the x-chokes full to get them on easily but I've never had a problem getting them on.

Same with my fifth wheel and 16” tires. Have to collapse them nearly all the way.
