5th wheel hitch, question on fit

I have a 2001 2500 GMC HD LONG the 5th wheel hitch I have is for sale. A fellow called, anyone know would it fit he’s 2002 2500 Ram long bed. The hitch kinda looks generic to me.

The hitch itself is generic and shouldn’t be a problem. They will need a set of rails as well as a mounting kit specific to their vehicle. The one caveat here is if they have the Ram puck system in their bed. In that case, and I’m no expert on the puck systems, they may need an adapter plate on the hitch for it to work.

Depends on what hitch it is??

I have a 15K Reese hitch that will fit a number of different trucks.
It’s just a matter of which holes you use in the rails that came with hitch on a certain truck.
I would contact hitch manufacturer
