Sure, I did when towing both previous trailers with the Ecoboost, and the Super Duty. (The latter was just for giggles.) It moved plenty of weight to the F150 and trailer axles. It put the front wheelwell height back the recommended height or more.

You can see my rig in my signature. 18 Ram 2500 CTD and 21 Keystone Cougar weighing in at about 8000 lbs loaded. About 900 lbs tongue weight. The Andersen handles this combination with ease. I'm totally comfortable with towing this rig anywhere. The day after we bought the Cougar, we towed it from Ogden UT to home in northern California, about 600 miles one way with zero issues.

You’re pulling a 47,000 pound trailer with an F150 ecoboost?!? Holy bat**** Robin!

Holy bat is right! I put an extra 0 in there. Let's try 4,700lbs. Loaded up and without the white knuckles.

Now, if you had an F15000 pickup you’d be good!

I'd love to see the CAT scale ticket on this.

I have also used an Andersen WDH for several years and loved it for ease of hook up and what not. Mine also put the front wheel well back at the recommended height. But after stopping at a scale, and doing some weight checks, I found that making the TV the right height, it had done little to put weight back on the front axle.

Granted, I had an early version and, maybe they have improved it by moving more weight as time has progressed.

Two changes in 2017...
1- Retainer ring on top of coupler head to prevent ball from separating from the head. 2-Two receiver depth locations. All the way in (pin closer to hitch head) does not do much weight transfer. Pin in the first hole (longest hitch head extension) is roughly six inches better separation providing additional lift leverage. Lift translates to weight shifting forward.
The farther back the A-frame mounts are improves distribution also.

Otherwise everything from old or new Andersen's interchanges.

So what are the advantages using it all they way in, instead of the first hole?

Ease of adjustment. The Andersen installation guide and Fitment guides say nothing about it or the adjustment, but it is 3" between the receiver pin holes. The rear hole is 10 1/8 inches in front of the ball canter. The hitch is rated for 14k lbs, 1,400 tongue wt. I have 5 1/2" rise to get the trailer from going nose down behind the Titan. I had to run at 7" rise behind the Ram and Ford. The Titan and Ford have Sumos, the Ram had Timbrens. Yes, went back to Super Springs, better ride. I hope the guy in Arizona who ended up with my lemon likes 'em.

Reese 66561 Trunion WD hitch for sale on the Reese site for $955.16 but 'unavailable'. The receiver shank length is listed at 14 1/2" and pin holes are 10 3/4" and 8 3/4 " from the hitch ball mount center. Reese says the same thing Andersen does...nothing about different receiver pin holes. So there you have it...what ever it is, and it only weighs 88 lbs!
