My vote is for the B&W patriot. I’ve got one on rails in same truck. Works great.

Have you looked at the Reese Goose Box? It has numerous mounting holes so it can be set a different positions within the pin box. Also, there are different heights of gooseneck balls that will allow for some adjustment also. I have one on my Pinnacle and it sits pretty level. My new Ford is pretty tall. The air bag and shocks on the hitch make for a pretty smooth ride.

TxLoser, quick question, does your truck have the factory puck system? from your reply it would appear it doesn't
and how much clearance you you have from you bed rails

I’m on rails, but puck would be the same I’d think. I’ve got 7-8” of bed rail clearance, and with hitch set to it’s most rear position, plenty of turn angle.

I have a 15 silverado 3500 long bed dually 4x4. My 5er is a 17 Northpoint 375. It came with a Moryde pinbox. My buddy HAD a 2016 silverado 2500 standard bed 4x4. His 5er is a 2018 29.5. He installed a Moryde pinbix on it. I have a B&W Companion and he has the Companion slider. The reason I sad HAD the 2016 is he recently got t-boned pretty hard and wiped the side of the truck out. Not totaled but lots $$$$ damage. He traded it in for a 20 Silverado 2500 High Country Z71. The height difference between the three trucks is the 20 sits 3/4" higher than the other 2. The 20 has the puck system and he had to get a new hitch, very had to find right now. The base install was very easy with the puck system. Both my 15 and his 16 had the head set to the same hole height and we both had the same bedrail clearances. The 20 we set one hole set higher and found it is too noise high. With that there is close to 7" of bedrail clearance. He re adjusted it to the bottom holes and has bedrail clearance of around 6" and the trailer sits close to level but is still a little bit noise high. Better nose high than nose low. He said hes is going to try to adjust the pinbox one set of holes up into the trailer to see if that will get the trailer level without having to sacrifice too much bedrail clearance. I had 5" of bedrail clearance on my set up and found it was not enough. WAY too many close calls and once had to leapfrog planks on one side of the trailer to get it out of a campsite. I made an adjustment and got 5 3/4" now. Much better and my trailer sits pretty level going down the road and sticks out at 13' 3" in height connected to the truck

I just went thru this with my 2017 Ford. (see sig). The new truck sits very high and a short bed. I went with the Andersen Ultimate. We are on our first trip and I am really liking it. It sits level and I have 6 inches of bed clearance.

It's a bit of relearning after using a PullRite hitch for 15+ years but We are quickly adjusting.

I did read some restrictions when using this hitch with the newer Chevy's.

With a 2019 Chevy he’ll have the same bed setup that’s been in use since at least 2011. I know for 2020 things changed. Bed rail height increased. I think the Andersen would work fine for him.

OP... I just looked up your trailer. I see it’s a light weight FW with 15” tires. Similar to the Eagle HT series I’d imagine. You’ve probably seen it on other threads, but these lines of trailers tend to run nose high. I had one. It did as well. With that trailer I was able to get 6” of bed rail clearance with this hitch setup I have now on a Chevy 2500. Again, you may have already read it, but 16” tires and adjusting the leafs to a lower mounting hole(if available) can help. It’s tricky to find that balance between close to level trailer and bed rail clearance. For me, bed rail clearance trumped perfectly level. It wasn’t way off, but a little nose high.

Here is the paragraph from the Andersen Ultimate web site: If your Andersen Ultimate Connection (3220, or 3220-TBX) will be installed on a 2015-2019 model of GMC or Chevy Trucks with no OEM, we suggest pairing it with the Full Bed Support System. This helps prevent warping that may result from torque forces, and fastens to the frame beneath the rearward bed saver rail.

Interesting. I got it wrong. Didn’t realize that would ever be an issue. Glad to know about that in case I ever decides to ditch the heavy hitch for a lightweight setup.
